Our Story
Humble Tattoo Co. was born from a desire to do things differently.
When Brett and Lexi first got together, he was working in a typical tattoo shop- an environment that didn’t always feel inclusive or welcoming. The tattoo industry can be intimidating, so we set out to change that by creating a studio where kindness, professionalism, and clear communication matter just as much as clean lines and solid tattoos. In 2021, we opened Humble in the mountains of Golden, BC to offer an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome. We’re here to craft quality tattoos and meaningful memories that last a lifetime.
OWNER / ARTIST
Brett has been tattooing professionally since 2015. He began his career in Hamilton, Ontario, and kept moving west until he found his forever home in the mountains of Golden, BC. Known for his outgoing and friendly personality, Brett puts clients at ease throughout the tattoo process. His style is constantly evolving, and he's skilled in everything from bold American Traditional to intricate large-scale pieces like sleeves and back pieces. Always up for a challenge, Brett brings enthusiasm and creativity to every tattoo.

While Brett is currently our only resident artist, we’re lucky to regularly host guest artists at our mountain studio. Past visitors like Austin Gregg, Sadie Teufel and Nila B have each brought their own unique style and energy to Humble.
